It is nearing midterms and you want to find cafes to go to. I am here for you! I have a couple of go-to café spots:
Starbucks in Gongguan
Closes at 10 pm
Bona Café
Closes at 5:30 pm
Boom Coffee Roasters
Closes at 6:30 pm
Louisa’s Café Daan
Closes at 9 pm
Studying and some treats at Bona Café
It is difficult to find a café that opens late because of Taiwanese culture. It is also common for some cafes to say in order for you to stay you must buy one drink. Drinks are typically 100-300 NTD. Yes, that can be pricey if you are on a budget. If you are on a budget, going to the Main Library at NTU or Koo Chen Fu Memorial Library is best. Both libraries close at 10 pm.

Additionally, studying is nice. But, do not forget to give yourself a break! Still try to explore Taiwan in other ways! CET is still sending out newsletters filled with fun activities for you, such as Folk Dance or the iPower: Laomei Festival! Sadly, I was sick and could not make it to the Folk Dance part, but the iPower Laomei Festival was a blast! I did beach yoga, made some friends, cleaned up a beach, and got cat ears! iPower teaches you about a small town in Keelung as you volunteer and have fun at the festival.
You got this! 加油!You will pass your midterm! 我希望你的期中考试万事如意!
