It is easy to visit the Dead Sea from Amman on your own if you want more time at the lowest point on earth. The hotels and resorts by the Dead Sea are only an hour drive away from the apartments. We rode donkeys on our way up the mountain to see the Monastery and the ride was exciting but quite dangerous as the donkeys travel fast on the slippery steps. The Roman Theater in Downtown Amman.
