The view of the Duomo on the street Via dei Servi that is a block away from my apartment.
Wine grapes that are ripe for pressing to become wine in the vineyards of Tuscany. We even got to try some of the grapes on our tour of the vineyard!
The ceiling of a gorgeous church in the Piazza della Santissima Annunziata. The entire ceiling is gold and is a stunning first view as you walk into the church.
The Basilica Santissima Annunziata is a church built in the 1200s. I stumbled upon this church on a walk and got to sit in on an Italian Catholic mass.
My first picture in Florence was of course the Duomo which is only 2 blocks away from my apartment. Such an amazing view to see everyday.
The view from the Piazza de Michelangelo that has the best sunset view of Florence. So far the two times I have been I have witnessed two proposals at this spot.
A bar in Florence is actually a café and this one is the one at the end of my street. I go every morning and practice ordering in Italian to learn the language.
Although this sandwich shop was in the touristy area of the Duomo piazza, it was amazing. Salami, goat cheese, and pesto on focaccia for 6 euros, you can’t beat that.
Although Florence isn’t known for its pastries they sure look amazing. Its hard to pass up one of these delicious looking treats when getting my morning coffee.
While I was wandering around Florence, I stumbled upon this courtyard that led to an old church. The ceiling art took my breath away as I took in its beauty as the only person in the church.
