Meet Clare. This month I want to introduce some of the crew and we are starting with her because she wasn’t present for the trip we take in the following series of pictures. In this picture me and our favorite most social butterfly of them all, are enjoying the sunset on our first paddleboat ride, directly after class.

This is a cool shot I took in Cesky Krumlov, on our CET sponsored weekend excursion there. I think this was right after our guided tour through the castle. We were asked not to take any photos or videos. But let’s just say I may or may not have heard that request.

I completely forgot to see the sights from that tower but instead I did get this great silhouetted pic of our beloved screenwriter Max, staring longingly at it. We will meet him later.

This is Marci. He says his real name sounds more like “Mart-zi” but he refuses to tell me the proper pronunciation. He is our Hungarian herec (herec, pronounced ‘heh-rets’ means actor in Czech). And luckily for us he is truly gifted.

And now we have Max. What can I say? He blew us all away with his script pitch, a story about a man who gives away all his teeth for love as a play on the truth that you can never get back the love you give in a relationship. He’s observant, a baseball fanatic and his jokes inspire a laugh that comes from a place as deep as his thinking.

Here we have Ellie who is seemingly in deep thought over how she will fool the group next. When we first met she told us she had no experience in writing, filming, acting, anything! And so far she has written a short story that we loved, a short film script that we loved even more and has even acted in a silent film as a vampire. It was incredible to say the least, or rather, she is.

King Chris. Also known as Hat Man and most well known for his Famous Smolder in every picture. All of his jokes are perfectly timed and are just perfect. With great music taste and a well groomed beard, this man can’t go wrong. He reviews every picture and video he is captured in the same way, “I look great”. And ladies and gentlemen, about that, he’s never wrong.

Ahhh Lucky Lucas. Another man with impeccable music taste, the sort that does quite well for setting the vibe in bigger groups. He is sharing the frame with this beautiful woman painted on the wall above him. Two people looking two different ways, Lucas looking hopeful and her distraught. If only she could look in his direction and see what he sees.

Would you look at this Beaut, perhaps you recognize her from last month. Her glasses are missing and you can’t see it yet but so is a good portion of her hair. Formerly known as “housemate” this is our ebullient Eryn. (I looked that word up and it fits…when she isn’t stressing over details). She got this beautiful fan from the gift shop at the castle and unlike the word ‘ebullient’ the fan is fitting regardless of the occasion, can’t you tell?

Here is a mini bonding shot of Lucas, Eryn (featuring her bob), and one of the many statues found here in Czechia. We don’t know who this man is but if you aren’t compelled to become him, like the beautiful models in the picture, maybe you are him already.

Don’t we love some good old bonus photos? Meet Evan, our coolest cat, is he ever seen without his jacket? Can you wear sunglasses that well?? With his back to the Sun we can infer he is likely asking himself “How many more times will these film classes make me watch Taxi Driver?!”

Our final pic. Serene and really capturing the main attraction of Cesky Krumlov. It’s a place, a town, I’d say, surrounded by water. I’d compare it to a moat. It was honestly a beautiful place and very cold, but I’d go back.
