Visiting Takayama Jin’ya, surviving Edo-period provincial government headquarters. Experiencing indigo dying workshop with CET students. Historically, indigo was a natural dye extracted from the leaves of certain plants. Everybody created their own patterns and was super fun. Visiting Nara prefecture with friends on a long weekend. Kasuga Grand Shrine is a shinto shrine in the city of Nara, in Nara prefecture, Japan. The interior is famous for its beautiful bright color and bronze lanterns. Visiting Harvest hill with CET students. Making friends with capybaras. They are so cute!
