What is a Program Leader?
Program leaders are responsible for supervising Pre-College at CET cohorts during four-week summer programs abroad. As a group leader, you live with students, support individuals and the whole group, and serve as advisors and intercultural role models.
In day-to-day operations, you provide daily oversight and support of the student group. As the main source of supervision for pre-college students, you serve as the primary contact for students while on the ground. Lead students from point A to point B, look out for their health and safety, and—alongside all other CET staff members—help with finances and record keeping. You also execute and supervise all evening and weekend activities.
Spend Your Summer Abroad
Applicants should have experience in the program location, familiarity with local culture and customs, and functional fluency in the local language. Travel expenses, accommodations, most meals, and insurance are covered by CET. Program leaders also receive a modest stipend upon successful completion of the program.
