Living in Osaka
Take a study break and try new snacks from your neighborhood combini (convenience store). Spend a Sunday hiking Minoh Waterfall. Strike up a conversation with the owner of your favorite ramen shop. Get a group together for a night of karaoke. You will love Osaka. The best part? People are friendly, kind, and more than happy to let you practice your Japanese.
Osaka Gakuin University
The program is based at Osaka Gakuin University. OGU is near two train lines, and only 15 minutes away from Osaka’s downtown. You’ll have access to OGU’s great library, sports facilities, and beautiful campus.
Housing & Meals
You’ll share a furnished, off-campus living space in a residential neighborhood with local roommates. Apartments are small, but comfortable, and there is almost always one roommate for every one student. For meals, prepare something at home or take your pick of the city’s many cheap eateries.
