This is the famous Waiao beach, located in Yilan County. This beach is a haven for surfers. My friend and I took the train from Taipei and stayed there overnight. We rented surf boards and enjoyed the weekend there.
It is a must to enjoy seafood at Waiao beach. In addition, you’ll find many food stalls and ice cream vendors.

This is the beautiful river that flows near Ximen district. This location is very vibrant at night and is a great for running in the day.
This is the beautiful Teapot Mountain. The view from this mountain is breathtaking; you can enjoy both the sea and the mesmerizing view of the mountain at the same time. Our guide said that one of my favorite types of tea matcha grows in there.
I finally reached the peak of the Teapot Mountain. We also climbed the rock and enjoyed the view from above the peak. The wind was blowing, and it was perfect after a sweaty hike.

Delicious spicy beef noodle soup and beef dumplings. I do this at least once a week and it tastes amazing.
More tea! One of the things that amaze me in Taiwan is how delicious the tea is. I of course ordered again the chrysanthemum tea and some matcha cake.
