We arrived at Zhinan Temple after a 2 hour hike from the Taipei Zoo station. This beautiful temple is adorned with lanterns. This place is not couple friendly because there is this myth that unmarried couple would break up after visiting this temple.

This photo shows one of the couple hallway that the spacious temple (Zhinan) has. It is surrounded by many trees and aromatic plants.

This is a tea field (as I heard from my Taiwanese friend) that the Maokong area boasts of many tea plants and the best tea houses.

One of the resident cats at Zhinan temples. These cats are very cute and well taken care of by the temple.
Chicken soup with bamboo and steamed chicken.

Steamed shrimp and the dessert was steamed buns.

View of Taipei 101 from the Elephant Mountain.

Inside Songshan Ciyou Temple. This temple is very popular and is right next to Raohe Night Market.

Picture of the mountains while taking the gondola.

My favorite thing to order for dessert: goji chrysanthemum tea with Japanese peanut red bean dessert.
