PRE-COLLEGE AT CET PROGRAMS
“CET Florence is an incredible program that I experienced at the perfect time in my life. I went abroad the summer after graduating from high school and came home with far more confidence and knowledge than I left with. From making gelato at a local gelateria to climbing the (463) steps to the top of the Duomo, I am so thankful for each of my experiences that helped me get to know Florence a little better.”

“My experience within the CET-Advances in Healthcare Cuba trip was profoundly informative for both my career goals and global perspective…I was able to see these values in execution within Cuba’s unique universal healthcare system supported by their 3-tier treatment system of local doctors, policlinics, and hospitals.”

“What I found so valuable in my China trip was learning how to grow up a little bit. I discovered some things that I wouldn’t likely have discovered back home simply because I wasn’t exposed to it”.
“Being away from home wasn’t as bad as I thought. I was worried that I was going to be very homesick because I was going to be out of the country for a month. But being around my new friends really helped me feel safe and happy in China”.

“To say CET was a formative experience would be an understatement. Not only did my time in this program expand my view of the world, it helped me learn about myself, who I care about, and how to work with others.”
“I am now reaping the benefits of this program every day. My Chinese is better, my people skills are better, and I feel more in touch with myself than I ever did before.”

GAP AT CET PROGRAMS
“Do a gap program!…The most intimidating situations are often the ones that end up being the most rewarding, especially when it comes to language and cultural experiences.”

“[CET] taught me to be more open minded, more willing to try new things, and more capable of figuring things out, things I would never have learned from a strictly in-class or non-immersive experience. I also made incredible memories from the good times and the not-so-perfect moments. For anyone thinking about studying a language in college, the CET program is perfect. It offers a realistic experience of what college-level language rigor looks like, tips and tricks for learning and studying a language, and an incredible travel opportunity to mix with different cultures and adjust to new places.”
