Program: CET Film Production at FAMU
Jackson is majoring in English and Communications. He is from Silver Spring, MD and wanted the chance to work with 16mm in a part of the world he had never been to before.

Program: CET Prague, Concentration in Business and Economics
Taylor is studying Operations and Technology Management and International Business with a certificate in Supply Chain Management, and East Central European Studies. She chose to study in Prague to gain work experience through an internship at the British Chamber of Commerce and to establish a foundation for a career in international business.

Program: CET Film Production at FAMU
Mallory is from Louisville, KY and is currently studying Cinema and Television Arts. She chose to study abroad through CET because of its partnership with FAMU. This program gives students the opportunity to understand the European perspective on film as well as the ability to shoot on 16mm film.

Program: CET Prague, Concentration in Jewish Studies
Jessie is double majoring in Art History and Arts Administrations and is originally from Long Island, NY. She decided to study in Prague because it’s a perfect location for traveling all over Europe, plus the architecture here is unbelievable and it is such a beautiful city!

Program: CET Photography at FAMU
Born in Sacramento, California and raised in Little Rock, Robert is a third year studying Media and Applied Mathematics. After completing a study abroad program in Greece, Robert decided to extend his time abroad with an intense semester in photography in order to fulfill additional major requirements. By the end of 2019, he will have spent a total of only three weeks in the United States, as he lived in Asia during this past summer.

Program: CET Prague, Contentration in Central European Studies
Skylar is from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She is a history major with an environmental science minor. A fun fact about Skylar is that she knows how to sail! She decided on this program because of its amazing classes and professors, and because of the traveling seminars and excursion experiences that CET provides for us. Not many other programs have such great sight-seeing opportunities, making CET really stand out.

Max is a Television, Radio, and Film major with hopes of becoming a screenwriter for television. He decided to study abroad at FAMU because he wanted the chance to continue learning about film while abroad, and to get the chance to work with 16mm film.

Sasha is a film major from Brooklyn, New York. He plays basketball and chose this program to become more immersed in filmmaking.

Tai is a Film and Media major with a Business and Entertainment minor from Raleigh, North Carolina. One of her favorite films is Baby Driver. She committed to this study abroad program because she heard great things about FAMU through other film students at her home university. She thought this program would be an amazing opportunity to gain more film experience while also broadening her horizons outside of American culture.

Czech Local
Daniel is a “Czech Buddy,” a Czech local who CET pairs students with to help them adjust to living in the Czech Republic. Each “Czech Buddy” usually lives in an apartment with four American study abroad students. Daniel is twenty years old and is from Nachod, a small town in the northeast near the Polish border. He used to study civil engineering but decided to switch to studying photography and filmmaking. Daniel has spent a great deal of time traveling around different European countries. He loves taking photos while exploring new places. His dream is to become a travel photographer.
