Taipei night market

What Is a Night Market Like?

Taiwan is famous for its night markets…and with good reason. Read all about an alumni’s discovery of the night markets in this Student Voices post.

Jonathan Morales (Colgate University, CET Taiwan, Summer 2017) takes you through the Tonghua Night Market by his home, and tells you all about the atmosphere and his favorite activities—enjoying the xiaochi (Think: Taiwanese tapas), shopping for unique items, playing the arcade and carnival games, and chatting with locals in Chinese.
