Paris catacomb

We decided to take a trip to Paris! Along that trip we visited the underground catacombs, which hold the remains of more than six million people!

While in Paris we also visited many art museums and this was one of my favorite pieces that I saw in the Centre Pompidou!

Jake, Megan, Raven, Myself, and Jean are all pictured in front of the infamous Eiffel Tower. However, I am still representing Siena with my university of Siena sweatshirt on!

street scene

It was so cool to see all of the many decorations that Siena put up for the holiday season! Here are a bunch of lit Christmas trees floating, but they also had a giant Christmas tree in a town square along with lights hung between the buildings, and many other decorations. Siena also has a very large Christmas market every year!

We also went took a trip to Krakow, Poland and along the way I saw the beautiful Swiss Alps from my airplane. Pretty cool view.

Auschwitz plaque

One place I needed to see before I left Europe was Auschwitz. I thought it was very important to visit Auschwitz and remember all of the millions of innocent lives that were brutally taken and to also learn more about history. Here is the memorial we saw while at Auschwitz-Birkenau, which contains a very significant message.
