CET Brazil: Business in São Paulo at FGV
Fall 2020 marks the inaugural semester for our new business-focused program in Brazil. This is a direct-enroll program in collaboration with Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), a private university with triple accreditation (including AACSB) and a strong reputation for business education.
Running alongside our other São Paulo program, CET Brazil: Social Justice, this program offers a unique exploration of sustainability in the world of business. The core course, Socially Sustainable Business in Brazil (taught in English exclusively for CET students), uses local context to help students understand the many factors at work within ethical business models.
CET Brazil: Business in São Paulo at FGV students attend a week-long Traveling Seminar to Salvador da Bahia, a historic port town with a strong presence of African culture and the country’s largest Afro-Brazilian population. Students explore the town’s reputation as a business hub for Brazilians working to reduce the racial wealth gap and visit locally-based organizations and companies with a similar vision.
Students not only direct-enroll in classes alongside FGV students (in English and Portuguese, depending upon the student’s language level), they also share apartments with FGV students to bring immersion into their home lives, too.
Applications for Fall 2020 are open, see the program page for more details.
