In early June, CET celebrated thirty years of collaboration with the Harbin Institute of Technology for our longest standing program: CET Harbin. The weekend’s festivities included a mixer and a career panel, and had many students, alumni, faculty and staff, and guest speakers in attendance.
Even our own Mark Lenhart, CET Executive Director who served as a Resident Director for the program in 1990, was present to reminisce about the program’s history and development over the years. “So much has changed in the world since this program was launched in 1988! The fact that CET Harbin continues to thrive is a testament to the strength of our partnership with HIT. The program’s history of success also reflects the dedication and hard work of the HIT/CET faculty and staff.”
Over the course of three decades, we’ve had so many new programs—Harbin’s 30th anniversary was a great opportunity to reconnect with the one that’s been there from the start. Check out more photos from the event on Facebook.
