Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: CET Vietnam is for students interested in witnessing international development up close. As an emerging Asian nation, Vietnam faces local challenges that have global relevance—public health infrastructure, deforestation, long-term economic and health impacts of war. CET Vietnam students have the opportunity to not only examine these challenges, but gain hands-on experience trying to solve them. They conduct service-learning, take multidisciplinary electives, learn Vietnamese, and live with English-speaking local roommates. This is a program for reflective, curious, challenge-seeking students. There is no language prerequisite.
