I am a senior at the University of California, San Diego. I am currently the captain and president of UCSD Men’s Club Soccer. I spent two months studying abroad in Shanghai and four months studying in Hangzhou. My favorite memories are of my core Chinese language class and teacher, my fall break trip to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, and the many impromptu conversations I had with street vendors.

I am a senior at Colby College. For the fall semester of my junior year, I studied abroad in Hangzhou, China and it was incredible! There are too many memories to pick from, but I would say my favorite is of meeting new people everywhere I went.

I am a senior Psychology major at Smith College and I immensely enjoyed the three terms that I spent in Beijing and Hangzhou, China. In the course of a year, I studied kungfu with a 70-year-old master, went horseback riding in Inner Mongolia, ate everything from duck neck to sea slug, and spent countless hours singing karaoke…and I can’t wait to go back!

I am a senior at Smith College. I studied abroad with the C.V. Starr-Middlebury School in China in Hangzhou, China for the 2009-10 academic year. It was a fantastic experience! My favorite memory from my time abroad is probably hiking Tiger Leaping Gorge in Yunnan Province with my fellow classmate during our fall break. It was one of the most gorgeous places I’d ever seen in my life.

One of my favorite memories is visiting the incredibly scenic West Lake on a foggy, rainy day and watching the row boats sail lazily across the smooth surface.
