CET Advises all Brazil Students to get Yellow Fever Vaccine

Earlier this week, the World Health Organization recommended that travelers to São Paulo be vaccinated for Yellow Fever. For this reason, CET has advised all CET Brazil students to get a Yellow Fever vaccination.

  • For students who are unable to get a vaccination in the United States, CET Brazil on-site staff will help them get a vaccination once in São Paulo. While there are reports of long vaccination lines, the vaccine is free in Brazil and students will receive a fractioned dose that is good for up to 8 years.

As always, we also recommend that students take preventive measures, such as learning about the disease symptoms and using ample mosquito repellent.

Please do not hesitate to contact CET with any questions or concerns.
