Syria program relocation: May 29

While we remain hopeful that the situation in Syria will improve this coming summer, the ongoing uncertainty and volatility there makes it extremely difficult for us to guarantee operation of our program in Aleppo this fall. Thus, we are suspending the Fall 2011 program in Aleppo, Syria and relocating the program to Irbid, Jordan. We plan to operate the Aleppo program again in 2012.
The Fall 2011 CET Intensive Arabic Language & Culture Studies program in Irbid, Jordan will be based at Yarmouk University. Our program staff is currently on site preparing for the arrival of summer CET students. The CET Jordan program will maintain CET’s high academic standards and firm commitment to language immersion, and offer the same intensive curriculum as in Aleppo.
